ROSALIE LONCIN is a director, animator and graphic designer. She graduated from EnsAD (Paris, France) in animation in 2015.
She creates animated music videos (Silent and Sweet for Stuck in the Sound, Lao Tseu for Jouvence…) and collaborates with many directors (Marie Larrivé & Lucas Malbrun, Vergine Keaton, Jonas Schloesing…) while working on her own films, including La Vraie Vie (Real Life) (Sacrebleu Productions & Gao Shan Pictures) and Le ciel au-dessus de la ville (The Sky Above the City), which she currently accompanies in festivals.
Since 2014, she has been assisting Céline Devaux with the animation of her short films (Le Repas Dominical, Gros Chagrin) and her first feature film, Tout le monde aime Jeanne (Everyone Loves Jeanne), produced by Les Films du Worso.
She is currently in development and production of several projects, such as the series Once there was a... (co-directed with Vincent Delbos-Klein and produced by Bagan Films) and the documentary feature Netflim Génération (co-directed with Danny Gopnik).
In THE SKY ABOVE THE CITY, Rosalie Loncin demonstrates the full range of her animation skills in a dreamy, organic experience that transports us to another universe.
