Fanny is a bookseller by day and a soft-hearted person the rest of the time. She is in love with her friend Louise, and to repress the sadness of this impossible love, she has a series of one-night stands with uninteresting men. One evening, at a literary gathering she's hosting, she invites Louise to come along. Fanny may be about to have a bingo.
Fanny Ruwet was born in Belgium in 1994. She is a stand-up comedian and author of two comedy shows, “Bon Anniversaire Jean” (available on MyCanal) and “On disait qu'on faisait la fête” (currently on tour), as well as the novel “Bien sûr que les poissons ont froid” (published by L'Iconoclaste). At the same time, she produces the podcast "Les Gens Qui Doutent" and appears weekly on France Inter [French Radio] (La Bande Originale, with Nagui).
She has also contributed to the writing of several shows, including Fanny Herrero's serie "Drôle" (Netflix) and Bérengère Krief's show "Sexe".
Bingo is her first short film as screenwriter and director.
